Shirley Ann Otten, 73, Altus, passed away on April 14, 2012 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Graveside memorial service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Altus City Cemetery with Father Sundar officiating. Inurnment is under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Shirley Ann Hellmann was born on January 19, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to Walter R. and Lillie Pearl (Frisch) Hellmann. She married James L. Otten on September 14, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a devoted military wife and homemaker. Shirley was of the Catholic faith. She loved fishing, sewing, cooking, baking and garage saleing. She also loved babysitting children, especially her grandchildren. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Her parents and a granddaughter, Stacy Ann Otten, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, James, of the home; two daughters, Darlene Goodrich of Altus, Oklahoma, and Donna Nagy and her husband, James, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a son, James L. Otten, Jr. and his wife, Jana, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Sean Michelson of Norman, Oklahoma, Michael Otten and his wife, Amanda, of Blair, Oklahoma, Hannah Otten of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Baylee Otten of Oklaunion, Texas, and Hunter and Tyler Bradley, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a great granddaughter, Trinity Faithe Otten; a great grandson, Dakota Sean Michelson; two sisters, Lillie Mae Foster of St. Louis, Missouri, and Juanita June Renfrow of Bloomington, Illinois; two brothers, Sylvester W. Hellmann and his wife, Betty, and James Richard Hellmann and his wife, Verla, all of Florrisant, Missouri; and numerous other family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
