Shirley Ann Slechta, 81, passed away at her daughters home, Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Altus, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit, Illinois. Cremation services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Shirley Ann McCormick was born on August 18, 1938 in Bloomfield, Nebraska to Clarance Jacob and Viola Elizabeth (Wentz) McCormick. She married Albert Slechta, Jr. and was a retired assembly line worker for the Chrysler Corporation.
Survivors include 3 children, Ann Barnes, Robert Slechta and Michael Slechta; 10 grandchildren, Kelly Ferguson, Shanna Newman, Ivan Barnes, Stephanie Bourland, Arron, James, Jesse, Selena and Crystal Slechta, and Hollie; and 12 great grandchildren.
