Stephen Craig Thomason, 62, passed from this earthly world on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Cremation services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Stephen was born on July 1, 1959 in Altus, Oklahoma to Donald and Twana (Brake) Thomason. He attended Altus High School, and later went on to study at the Western Oklahoma State College. Upon graduating from high school, he went straight into the family business of custom harvesting. As a third-generation harvester, Stephen made his favorite pastime into a lifelong career, harvesting wheat, milo, and corn. While harvesting and keeping a business going occupied a lot of his time, he always found time for the important things like making fun memories while fishing. Stephen loved many things outdoors including bird hunting, fishing, cookouts, and spending time with loved ones. He always enjoyed funny jokes with friends, a good hardly laugh and hot meal after a long day of work. Stephen was a God-fearing man, a family man, and he will be dearly missed.
Stephen is survived by his daughter, Megan Galvan and husband, Emilio; first wife and Megan’s mother, Barbara Hyman; second wife and loving friend, Teresa Thomason; daughter, Leshia Buchy and husband, Mark; grandchildren, EJ Galvan and Lexie, Raegan, Luke and Dane Buchy; brother, Mark Thomason and wife, Susan; nephew, Matthew Thomason; and nieces, Jessica DePaolo and Tessa Mae Thomason; and great niece and nephew, Chloe Prelesnick and Devin Prelesnick. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Twana Thomason; sister, Janna Thomason; and niece, Christan Thomason.
