Steven Lawrence Fechner, 69, Elk City passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at his home. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Ruben Ozuna officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral home and Cremation Services.
Steven was born in Duluth, Minnesota on February 3, 1952 to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Benson) Fechner. He attended school at Duluth Public Schools and entered the United States Air Force in 1970, where he served as a Fuel Specialist until he was honorably discharged in 1974, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He married Rose Ozuna on July 1, 1974 in Altus Oklahoma. To this union three children were born, Monica, Staci and John. Steven was a long-haul truck driver and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family along with listening to country music.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Elizabeth Fechner; sister, Suzette Lehet; sister-in-law, Vicky Fechner; and brother in-laws, Joe Ozuna & Victor Solomon.
He is survived by his wife Rose, two daughters, Monica Wilkerson and husband, Courtney and Staci Torrez and husband, Isaac; one son, John Fechner and wife, Courtney; nine grandchildren, Cheryl and husband, Austen, Woody and wife, Kenzie, Travis Fechner and Kristian McNabb, Logan, Autumn, Eben, Phoenix, Cameron and Jaida; five great grandchildren, Brielle, Kolt, Alexis, Carson and Noah; two sisters, Candy Sanchez, and husband, Ron; and Debbie Fechner; and one brother, John Fechner.
