Steven "Steve" Walker

Steven “Steve” Walker, 59, Altus, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the English Village Manor. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Eldorado Cemetery with Rev. John Spangler, Pastor, Trinity Baptist Church, Quanah, Texas, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Steve was born on March 21, 1952 in Turlock, California to Billy “Curly” and Lucia A. (Overby) Walker on March 21, 1952. He grew up and graduated from high school in Quanah, Texas. He was a football player while he was a student. He attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas earning a Bachelor’s Degree. Steve served as a Baptist minister before focusing on his career in sales. He was of the Baptist faith. Steve was a Civil War Buff. Steve is preceded in death by his father, and his stepfather, Woody Farley. He is survived by his mother, Lucia Farley of Altus, OK; a sister, Sharon Ann Walker of Quanah, TX; a nephew, Aaron Reichman and wife, Colleen, of Quanah, TX, two nieces, Sasha Deel and husband, Ricky, and Shara Reichman, all of Quanah, TX; and three great-nieces and nephews, Gavin, Ryan and Keziah.
