Sylvia Castillo

Sylvia Castillo, 68, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lupe Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Sylvia was born on January 11, 1953 in Raymondville, Texas to Oscar and Guadalupe (Baladez) Garcia. She married Pedro Castillo on October 26, 1970 in Vernon, Texas. He passed away on October 28, 2011. Sylvia was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and dancing to her favorite Mexican bands. Her most cherished times were spent with her family and friends.

Her parents, husband, a daughter, Kathy Wiseman, and a son, Pedro Castillo, Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Sylvia Angela Tokarski and husband, Timothy “Ski”, Julie Richardson and Terry Oxford, Mary Mullican, Rick Castillo and wife, Bettye, John Castillo and wife, Cheryl, and Martin Castillo and wife, Tami; grandchildren, Brandon Wiseman, Jennifer Wiseman, Sean Rhoden, Chase Castillo and family, Trea Herring and wife, Elaina, Kymberlin Luckett and husband, Kendall, Clay Castillo, Allison Castillo, Samantha Castillo, Spencer Anderson, Trace Tokarski, Pedro “EJ” Tokarski, Albany Richardson, Mikel Bush, Mikayla Bush, Ryleigh Mullican and Ryan Mullican; great grandchildren, Colby Smith, Cody Smith, Alianna Bell Luckett, Colton Herring, Kasen Herring and Payton Herring; two sisters, Eloisa Lopez and Virginia Basaldua and husband, Zeke; a brother, Frank Rodriguez; and many other family members and friends.
