Tammy Jean Swain-Davis

October 12, 1979 — September 6, 2024

Olustee

Tammy Jean Swain Davis, of Olustee, Oklahoma, passed away just thirty-six days shy of her 45th birthday on Friday, September 6, 2024, in Oklahoma City. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, September 13th, at the funeral home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 14th, at the First Baptist Church in Olustee with Pastor Jim DeGreek officiating. Burial will follow at the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Tammy was born to Glen Dale and Lana Kay (Lindsey) Swain in Altus on October 12, 1979. Upon graduating from Duke High School, Tammy went to school in Vernon, Texas where she obtained her cosmetology license. She later returned to Vo-Tech where she gained her Certified Nursing Aide and Licensed Practicing Nursing licensures. Tammy quickly learned that being a nurse and providing care to others was her true calling. She loved spending her free time in prayer and was a strong prayer warrior. If she was not quilting or volunteering as an Eastern Star, she could be found reading her Bible or in prayer.

Tammy was a member of the Olustee First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a Wednesday night youth teacher. Her favorite place to be, aside from anytime with her children, was any beach where she could put her feet in the sand. She enjoyed investing time in studying the Bible, watching her favorite movie, “War Room”, and simply taking care of others in any way she could.

Tammy is survived by her children, Jennifer Bowler and husband, Justin, Damon Welch and wife, Bayleigh, Tyler Davis and wife, Brooklyn, Dylan Davis, and Ryan Davis; parents, Glen and Kay Swain; brother, Patrick Swain and wife, Jenny; grandchildren, Dante Davis, Kazuto Davis, Amara Davis, and Asher Welch; nephews, Kiser and Conner; husband, Michael Davis; and many friends.
