Terry Francis Adams

Terry Francis Adams, 65, Altus, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Tom Bailey officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Funeral and cremation services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Terry Francis Haines was born on September 22, 1947 in Altus, Oklahoma to Harold M. and Eunice M. (McCreary) Haines. She attended Altus Public Schools and graduated in 1965. She then attended Cameron University in Lawton and graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Terry married Michael L. Adams in Altus on October 13, 1977. Terry worked as a Juvenile Services Case Worker for the Department of Human Services from 1977 until her retirement in 1999. She was a member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts and helping others at English Village. Her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Harold M. Haines, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Michael, of the home; a daughter, Marcie Atkinson and husband, Kirk, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Gage Kelty and Alexis Kelty; a sister, Kerry Charlton of Aloha, Oregon; a brother, Ki Haines, of Altus, Oklahoma; a niece, Jeana Moon, of Aloha, Oregon; and special friends, Danny and Nancy Guinn and their children, Jesse, Dustin, and Joanna. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, November 9, 2012 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Dr. and Mrs. Harold M.
