Thomas "Tommy" Tutten, 65, Blair, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tyler McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Thomas Gordon Tutten was born on November 20, 1954 in Altus, Oklahoma to R. G. and Martha (White) Tutten. Tommy grew up at Quartz Mountain State Park. He married Sonya Winters in Altus Ok. After graduating from Blair High School he began working for Mead’s Bread Company for the next four years. Shortly thereafter he started his career with UPS where he was a supervisor for 11 years. Upon retiring from UPS in Bartlesville, he returned to Blair and opened Blair Auto Sales in addition to acquiring multiple rental properties. Later Tommy married Gail Allen. Tommy eventually returned home to Quartz Mountain State Park where he has lived for the last twenty years. Tommy’s hobbies consisted of racing cars, playing music with the band, playing poker & riding & motorcycle’s. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.
His parents, a brother-in-law, Carl Atwood, and a sister-in-law, Lucretia Tutten, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Gail, of the home; a daughter, Tammy Philo and husband, Spencer; son Dusty Tutten and wife, Heather, stepsons, Mike Allen, and Chris Allen and wife, Casey; eight grandchildren, Bentley, Ashlin and Briggs Philo, Ali Jo Powell and husband, Wade, Rhett Tutten, and Josh, Brittlynn and Blain Allen; one great grandchild on the way; a sister, Martha Ann Atwood; a brother, Melvin Tutten; and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
