Timothy Wayne McDowell

Timothy W. McDowell, 60, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Timothy was born on June 13, 1961 in Maddison, Indiana to Robert and Joyce (Taulman) McDowell. He was a 1979 graduate of Trimble County High School in Bedford Kentucky and studied welding at Carroll County Area Technology Center in Carrollton, Kentucky. Following school, he moved to the Island of Guam for work where he met and married Bernadette Tenorio and from this marriage three children were born. Timothy worked as a mechanic with the United States Civil Service at the Altus Air Force Base for 25 years.

Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ann McDowell; stepmother, Janet Lynn Pelkey-McDowell; sister, Joyce Marlene McDowell; grandson, Gohan Paduana; and grandparents, Robert and Maxine Jones, Raymond Taulman, and J.R. and Lula McDowell.

Timothy is survived by his father; brothers, Graydon, Todd and Josh Pelkey and Robert G. McDowell, Jr.; son, Nathan McDowell; daughters, Meagan and Samantha McDowell; granddaughters, Lillian and Kairi Paduano and Katelyn French; many cousins; and a host of friends.
