Tommy J. McMillin, 71, passed away at his home in Blair, Oklahoma on Monday, December 29, 2014. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Blair First Baptist Church with Jarrod James officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Tommy Joe McMillin was born October 18, 1943 in Blair, Oklahoma to Jack and Margaret Wyn Nelle (Ward) McMillin. Tommy graduated from Blair High School. He went to serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged after eight months. Tommy and Estelle Parsons-Miller were united in marriage on December 30, 1971 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He hauled cattle for several years before trucking for Republic Gypsum. Tommy then farmed and ranched for Merle Hysinger and Bob Kerr. He had worked for Bob and Gayle Conger training greyhounds and drove for Passmore Trucking. He attended the Blair First Baptist Church. Tommy loved to watch western movies, ride horses, rope cattle, hunt, fish and play dominoes. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Debbie Miller; brothers-in-law, Bob Conger, Travis Parsons, Leon Parsons and Avis Roberts; and sisters-in-law, Barbara Prichard and Inez Roberts. He is survived by his wife Estelle, of the home; one daughter, Kari Ochoa and husband, Gilbert, of Marion, TX; two sons, Mike Miller and wife, Debra, and Bobby Miller, all of Blair, OK; grandchildren, Cherri Calvery and husband, Jacob, of Hobart, OK, Jo Anna Welch and husband, David, of Blair, OK, Teresa Miller of Corn, OK, Casey Miller and wife, Lindsay, of Altus, OK, David Miller of Blair, OK, Rita Wright and husband, David, of Forestburg, TX, and Natalie Ochoa and Madison Ochoa, both of Marion, TX; brother, Bobby McMillin and wife, Judy, of Blair, OK; sister, Gayle Conger of Blair, OK; brother-in-law, David Parsons and wife, Charlotte, of Paducah, TX; and 17 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of family and friends.
