Treva Joyce Albon, 75, of Blair, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the English Village Manor. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Blair First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Treva Joyce Baker was born on June 5, 1936 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Joe and Emma (Woods) Baker. She attended Rider School in Wichita Falls, Texas and met her future soul mate, William F. Albon. They were married December 3, 1955. She and William were married for fifty-five years. Her husband was a member of the United States Air Force for twenty-four years, and where he went she went. She attended the Victory Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas and later became a member of the First Baptist Church in Blair. She was also a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary. Treva worked as a motel housekeeper at the Lakeview Motel on North Main and the Sagamar Motel on East Broadway. She enjoyed painting scenery, watching races, and driving her racecar. Mrs. Albon was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. She is survived by her husband, William F. Albon, of the home; a son, John Albon of Blair, OK; two daughters, Drucilla A. Aultman and husband, Nathan, of Wichita Falls, TX and Cheryl L. Albon of Red Bluff, CA; two grandsons, Dale Tedford of Wichita Falls, TX and James Albon of Concord, CA; two sisters, Gloria J. Johnson and husband, Gary, and Lois Burleson, all of Wichita Falls, TX; one brother, Roy Baker and wife, Jimmie, of Burkburnett, TX; one brother-in-law, Edward Albon of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; one-sister-law, Lois Jenson and husband, Don, of Hesperia, CA; and three great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s church of choice.
