Valente Marin Guzman

Valente Marin Guzman, 61, Altus, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Hawn officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Valente was born on April 28, 1956 in Lyford, Texas to Gregorio and Antonia (Marin) Guzman. He worked in construction for most of his life and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. He loved working and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed playing guitar and fishing.

His parents, son, Randy Guzman, and three brothers, Rocky Marin Guzman, Antonio Marin Guzman and Greg Guzman, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Maysi Hartman and husband, Roger; a son, Valente Guzman, Jr. and wife, Danelle; ten grandchildren, Lashanda and Devante Franklin, Marylou and Mary Josephine Guzman, Shabrell Hartman, Ylexis and Jada Molina, Valente Ray and Kenzye Grace Guzman, and Brad Guzman; twelve brothers and sisters, Alcario Guzman, Alice Guzman, Olga Bernal, Mary Guzman, Henry Guzman and wife, Maxine, Steve Guzman, Norma Salgado, Frances Romero and husband, Gilbert, Eddie Guzman, Yolanda Guzman, Rick Guzman and wife, Sara, and Gloria Jones; and numerous other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
