Voda Pearl Thibodeaux

Voda Pearl Thibodeaux, 87, of Eldorado, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 28th in the Kincannon Memorial Chape with Mart Thurmond officiating. Burial will follow at Odema Cemetery under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Voda Pearl was born on June 24, 1935 in Eldorado to Matthew and Marie (Newsome) Jones. She attended Eldorado School and continued her education at Shasta College in Redding, California. She married Ludray “Lu” Thibodeaux on April 12, 1974 in Eldorado. Voda was a devoted housewife all her adult life. She greatly enjoyed taking care of their home, sewing and making flower arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her; daughter, Linda Lee Thurmond; sons, Bradley and Christopher Thurmond; and her parents, Matthew and Marie Jones; and her brothers, Fred, Donald, and Eddie Jones.

Voda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lu; sons, James, Mart, Danny, Jessie, and Bryan Thurmond; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister, Wanda McQuary, age 92; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
