Wallace Edward “Eddie” Storey, 56, of Blair, OK passed away Thursday, August 07, 2014 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. A reception will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Kincannon Funeral Home. Additional viewing will be available Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Cremation services will be provided by Kincannon Funeral Home. Inurnment of cremated remains will take place at a future date in a National Cemetery. Wallace Edward Storey was born to Virgil and Shirley (Corum) Storey September 15, 1957 in Decatur, Alabama. He graduated from West Morgan High School in Trinity, Alabama in 1977. He served his country for twenty years with the United States Air Force and retired in 1997. He was currently working with the A Team at Altus Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic working on the C-17. His co-workers referred to him as the “The Roaming Gnome”. He was of the Baptist faith. Wallace enjoyed computers, motorcycles, tinkering, guns, and movies. He engineered many contraptions and inventions and was especially proud of the fork lift he and his brother built. Mr. Storey was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Shirley Storey. He is survived by two brothers, Robin D. Storey of Blair, Oklahoma and Anthony (Tony) C. Storey of Rome, Georgia.
