Warren (Bud) Thomas Franklin, 67, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at his home in Altus, Oklahoma. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Warren was born on June 5, 1955 in Darby, Pennsylvania to Francis and Marie Franklin. At the age of 19 he entered the United States Air Force, faithfully serving his country for 20 years. He retired as a TSGT at Howard AFB in Panama. He then continued to work as a crew chief and aircraft mechanic for 17 years at Altus AFB. He married the love of his life, Cecilia (Alvarez), on May 18, 1993 in Panama, Central America. Warren was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family, playing uno with friends, and watching/reading westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Marie.
Those left to honor Warren’s memory are his wife of 29 years, Cecilia; stepmother, Carol Franklin; children, Tommy Franklin, Anna Marie Harris and husband, Elvis, Francisco Franklin and wife, Nou Xiong, and Elizabeth Myers and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Helena, London, Ariana, Paris, Faith, and one on the way, Ruth; siblings, Marie Aaron and husband, Rex and Michael Franklin and wife, Gwen; nephew, Owen; nieces, Stephanie and Melanie; and many other family and friends.
