Wendell Gerald Kellison, 75, Altus, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 3:00 pm, at the Kincannon Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow services at the Restlawn Cemetery in Altus. Born on August 1, 1939, in Vinson, Oklahoma to James and Rosie Mae (Vanlandingham) Kellison, Wendell attended high school in Vinson. He married Oneta Wadley on October 19, 1957, in Childress, Texas. Wendell owned and operated Southwest Auto Auction for many years. He was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed cars, racing cars, golf, fishing, Dallas Cowboy football, and watching his grandchildren play sports. His parents, wife, and a granddaughter, Sydney Brown, precede him in death. Survivors include three daughters, Karen Jones and husband, Kent; Wendy Cobb and husband, Eddie; Brenda Simmons and husband, Scott; son, Danny Kellison; ten grandchildren, Kurt and Amber Jones; Kim and Josh Ellis; Deric and Lisa Hays; Latisha and Seth Richard; Angela and Cody Hastings; Matthew and Angela Cobb; Deidra Kellison; Dustin Kellison; Katie Church; Kolin Simmons; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
