Wendy E. Cryer, 44, Martha, passed away at her home Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, August, 2, 2014 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bill Estep officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Wendy Evelyn Hickman was born on October 5, 1969 to Dwain and Loyce Ann (Tutten) Hickman in Altus, Oklahoma. She attended Blair High School and graduated with the Class of 1987. She had also attended Western Oklahoma State College. She married Brady Cryer February 14, 1995 in Vernon, Texas. Wendy had worked in the banking industry for many years, beginning at the Red River Federal Credit Union in Altus. She then worked at First State Bank of Altus and was currently working for Stockman’s Bank of Altus. Wendy worked in the public for many years and always had a great outlook and an infectious smile. She never met a stranger and always had something good to say to everyone. Wendy was a member of the Altus Church of God, enjoyed cooking and visiting with family and friends. Brady and Wendy enjoyed playing golf together and she especially enjoyed her custom golf cart detailed with her favorite color, PINK! Wendy is preceded in death by her mom, Loyce Ann Hickman. She is survived by her husband, Brady; their two dogs, Toby and Missy; her father, Dwain Hickman of Blair, Ok; one sister, Cindy Pentaluna of Ardmore, OK; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sammie and Glenda Cryer of Altus, OK; three brothers-in-law, Sammy J. and Kathy Cryer of Altus, OK; Scott and Tammy Cryer of Tulsa, OK; Brant Cryer and Ron of Altus, OK; two nieces, Cassidy Cryer of Guthrie, OK; Amber Cryer of Tulsa, OK; two nephews, Chase Cryer of Blair, OK; Travis Cryer of Tulsa, OK; four great nieces, Chloe, Kimmie, Cayleigh and Blakeley; one great nephew, Trent and many, many friends. The Cryer family will greet friends Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Kincannon Funeral Home. Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Best Western to the South or Western Sizzlin’ to the North.
