Wiley Cain, 77, Altus, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Millard McGuire officiating. Wiley Edward Cain was born July 31, 1933 on the family farm southeast of Hennessey, OK to Samuel (Jack) and Nora (O’Hern) Cain. He attended college at Oklahoma State University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education. He was in the Korean War, while serving in the United States Army. He was employed by the USDA Cotton Division for twenty-five years and then retired in 1985 due to health reasons. He married Georgia Wanette Thomas on February 3, 1984. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness. Wiley was an avid reader and loved country swing music, especially Bob Wills, Oklahoma State University sports, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Iris Cain and Kathleen Hobbs; and one brother, A.B.Cain Wiley is survived by his wife, Georgia, of the home; two daughters, Candy Hentzen and husband, Richard, of Keller, Texas, Carrie Ahlberg and husband, Bo, of Duvall, Washington; two step-sons, Eric Cribbs of Caddo Mills, Texas, Trace Cribbs of Electra, Texas; one step-daughter, Chamisa Powers and husband, Victor , of Friendship, OK; two brothers, Stanford G. Cain, and wife, Wanda, of Livermore, California, Randall Cain and wife, Rhea, of Hominy, OK; four grandchildren, Hayley Hentzen of Denton, Texas, Carter Hentzen of Keller, Texas, Austin Tingueley and Elliott Tingueley of Duvall, Washington; five step-grandchildren, Deric Cribbs and wife, Erin, of Caddo Mills, Texas, Dustin Cribbs and wife, Kim, of Caddo Mills, Texas, Tiffanie Simpson of Caddo Mills, Texas, Linda Culpepper and Michale Culpepper of Altus, OK; seven step-great-grandchildren; and extended family, Brenda and Burgundy Cribbs of Altus, OK. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
