William "Bill" Pratt

William Allen "Bill" Pratt, 73, Altus, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Grace Living Center in Mangum, OK. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in the Granite City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Bill was born on April 25, 1942 to Leonard Amos and Zula Mae (Allen) Pratt in Granite, Oklahoma. He attended and graduated from Mangum High School. Bill and Carolyn J. Billington were united in marriage on June 9, 1960. To this union, three sons were born, Darren, Brian and Allen. Bill was a butcher and a meat manager for a number of years for Pucketts Food Store in Mangum and United Supermarkets. He enjoyed traveling, sightseeing, camping, and fishing. He loved spending time with his family most of all. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mike Pratt. He is survived by three sons, Darren Pratt and Melita Hawkey of Altus, OK, Brian Pratt and wife, Sharon, of Carthage, TN and Allen Pratt and wife, Maura, of Prattville, AL; a half brother, Robert Elliott; thirteen grandchildren, Joshua, Michelle, Melissa, Stephanie, Yvonne, Jessica, Patrick, Brian, Jr., Catherine, Aaron, Mary Ann, Baylee, and Trevor; eleven great grandchildren, Haeleah, Destiny, Antonio, Dominique, Jayden, Donovan, Emma, Hunter, Kaidyn, Dalayla, and Blake; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Best Western to the South or Western Sizzlin’ to the North.
