William Brooke Davis, Jr., 68, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away at his home on Monday, June 27, 2022. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Cremation services are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
William was born on May 13, 1954 in Cumberland, Maryland to William Brooke Davis, Sr. and Vera Estelle (Barrett). He attended school and graduated from Brooklyn Park High School in Maryland. William married Irene Brashears on October 8, 1977 in Brooklyn Park. He was a cab driver by trade and enjoyed talk radio, solitaire, and TV sports.
His parents, William and Vera; two infant brothers; and a sister, Rosemary Davis; preceded him in death.
William is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Irene; sons, William Brooke Davis, III and wife, Tammy, Brian Davis and wife, Mindy Lambert, Mark Davis, Sr. and wife, Ariel, and Jamison Davis and wife, Crystal; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many friends including long-time friend, Ronnie Cooper.
