William "Harvey" Osborn

William "Harvey" Osborn, 78, Altus, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Frederick Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Harvey was born on August 27, 1936 in Octavia, Oklahoma to Samuel and Sarah Ann (Shaw) Osborn. He married Pearlene Hicks in 1959 in Frederick, Oklahoma. To this union, four children were born. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. Harvey enjoyed fishing, hunting and chopping wood. He was also a dedicated believer to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, Alden Osborn, two sisters, Mary and Melvie Osborn, and four brothers, David, Vechel, Vernon and Cecil Osborn. Survivors include three daughters, Debra Osborn of Altus, OK, Sharon Osborn of Frederick, OK and Alicia Osborn of Wewoka, OK; six grandchildren, Amanda, Derrick, Ashley, Richard, Lisa and Crystal; numerous great grandchildren; and two brothers, Ellis Osborn of Pennsylvania and Claude Osborn and wife, Margie, of Fort Smith, AR. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1320 NW Homestead Drive #D, Lawton, OK 73505.
