William E. "Wes" St. Clair, III, Altus, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Bostic officiating. Burial will take place at 9:00 AM Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
William Ellsworth St. Clair, III was born on October 19, 1942 to William Ellsworth, II and Helen (Call) St. Clair in New Castle, Pennsylvania. In 1963 he joined the United States Air Force and served his country for over twenty seven years. While in the military, he mainly worked in Operations Resource Management as the Superintendent. He retired in 1991 as a Senior Master Sergeant. Wes and Sherry E. Scott were united in marriage on January 15, 1972 in Haven, Kansas. Sherry preceded him in death on June 16, 2017. He worked for the Oklahoma Employment Office until his final retirement. His truest passion was being a Altus High School volunteer girls soccer coach. He participated in this role for many years and to his "Girls" he was lovingly referred to as "Grandpa."
Wes is preceded in death by his wife and parents. He leaves behind three daughters, Brandy Lackey and husband, Mike, Mandy Dwyer and husband, Brian, and Traci Daughtry and husband, Lance; son, Gary Rathman and wife, Patti; grandchildren, Devin and Megan Dwyer, Allison and Whitney Lackey, Christopher, Michael and Alex Rathman, Zachary, Robert and Steven Daughtry. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Peggy Renfro and husband, Mike, as well as many friends.
The St. Clair family will greet friends from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, February 4, 2018 at the Kincannon Gathering Room.
