Willis Floy "Bud" Drawdy, Jr.

Willis Floy “Bud” Drawdy, Jr., 76, passed away at his home in Blair, Oklahoma on Sunday, January 2, 2022. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Family Life Church in Altus with Pastor Jan Ivan Oden officiating. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Bud was born on October 9, 1945 in Walterboro, South Carolina to Willis F., Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Ramsey) Drawdy. After high school he entered the United States Navy and served two tours to Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. Bud married Shirley Harris on January 24, 1976 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He was a diesel mechanic for over 50 years and a flight mechanic for 10 years. Bud was a member of the Family Life Church and enjoyed canoeing and tinkering. He was a redneck re-inventor of sorts. For those of you that knew him, he has one final message, "I'm glad you got to see me!"

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Margaret; granddaughter, Elizabeth; and brothers, Amos Henley Drawdy and Robert Drawdy.

Bud is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Daniel W. Drawdy and wife, Roxie, Randal C. Terrel, Jr., and Shana Terrel-Jackson and husband, Allen; grandchildren, Daschel, Dharmonie, Ethan, and Christopher; and a sister, Becky Lee Grigg.
