Wilma Banks, 91, formerly of Altus, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rod Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the New Electra Cemetery in Electra, Texas under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Anna Wilma Mills was born December 5, 1920 to Frederick Hugo and Mary Edna (Stagner) Mills in Vanoss, OK. She married H.D. “Rocky” Banks on August 17, 1936 in Vernon, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Wilma was a member of the County Line Missionary Baptist Church in Wright, Arkansas. She loved visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, playing computer games, studying her bible, and listening to praise and worship music. Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, H.D. “Rocky” Banks, one son, Richard K. Banks, her parents, two sisters, seven brothers, and two great grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Joyce Lowe of Wright, AR, and Linda Banks Hunter of Blair, OK; one son, Timothy L. Banks of Carrollton, TX; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild. The Banks family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until service time, Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the Kincannon Gathering Room.
