Wilma “Sue” Wallace, 88, Altus, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Darrel Smalts officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Sue was born on December 11, 1923 in Olustee to Wesley D and Crittie Cleo (Cox) Rogers. She graduated from Humphreys High School in 1941. Sue worked for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator and worked in Altus, Tulsa and Hot Springs, Arkansas. She retired after more than 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for many years. Sue loved cooking and playing chickenfoot. Her parents preceded her in death. Sue is survived by her daughter, Connie Peterson and husband, Art, of Robstown, Texas; a son, Rick Wallace and wife, Carol, of Blair, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Richard White and wife, Jaclyn, of Royal, Arkansas, Kyon Wallace and wife, Kim, of Altus, Oklahoma, Aaron Wallace and wife, Jessica, of Norman, Oklahoma, Jessica Smoot and husband, Kyron, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and S’Vana, Michael, and Annie Wallace, all of Blair, Oklahoma; seven great grandchildren, Jenna, Jillian, Emily, Ellie, Catey, Cole and Abigail; and three sisters, Jean Skinner and husband, Bill, of Norman, Oklahoma, Glena Selby and husband, Dearl, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Lucretia DeVore and husband, Ted, of Altus, Oklahoma.
