mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi;} Wyn Nelle McMillin, 98, Blair, passed away early Monday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Blair First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Margaret Wyn Nelle Ward was born on August 15, 1915 to Thomas Avery and Bonnie (Harris) Ward in Blair, Oklahoma. Wyn Nelle attended and graduated Blair High School. She and Jack McMillin were united in marriage on March 3, 1939, and to this union three children were born. She was the oldest member of the Blair First Baptist Church. Wyn Nelle enjoyed doing needlepoint, working in her yard and with her flowers, and baking. She babysat for several teachers children over the years. Wyn Nelle loved her family dearly and always enjoyed being with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Bonnie Lou Simpson and Murldean Rice, a brother, Dewitt Ward, and a son-in-law, Bob Conger.
Wyn Nelle is survived by one daughter, Gayle Conger of Blair, OK; two sons, Bobby McMillin and wife, Judy, of Blair, OK and Tommy McMillin and wife, Estelle, of Blair, OK; seven grandchildren, Kay Meredith of Altus, OK, Richard Conger of Blair, OK, Johnelle Evans and husband, Jon, of Edmond, OK, Lissa McMillin, Mike Miller and wife, Debbie, Bobby Miller and wife, Debbie, all of Blair, OK, and Kari Ochoa and husband, Gilbert, of Marion, TX; one sister, Rene Southall of Blair, OK; seventeen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The McMillin family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 8 in the Kincannon Gathering Room.
