It was during this time he became a professional tennis coach and was a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association. Upon his retirement from teaching, he returned to this passion and was named Woodturner’s Resource featured turner of the month in January 2013. He marketed his products to boutiques and interior design stores across north Texas and Oklahoma. Zack was a member of the First Baptist Church.
