Zola Clements, 83, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Irving, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 21, 2011at the First Assembly of God Church with Dr. Richard Ventonis, David Clements, and Lynn Taubeneck officiating. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Zola Davis was born on September 14, 1927 to L. Mark and Emma Margaret (Hand) Davis at Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. She attended school in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Zola lived in Arkansas, Fairview, Blair, Elk City, and Mustang before moving to Altus in 1958. She married Lincoln Napoleon “Jack” Clements on November 11, 1944 at DeQueen, Arkansas. She was secretary for Clements Plumbing from 1961 to 2001. Zola owned and managed the Tiny Tots Daycare from 1980 to 1991. She was a member of the Altus First Assembly of God Church. She was the Women’s Ministries President, Sunday School Teacher and Missionettes teacher at Altus First Assembly of God Church. Zola was a loving homemaker, she enjoyed reading, listening to Christian music, sewing, gardening, cooking, canning. She loved going to church, visiting the sick but most of all spending time with family and friends. Zola is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack; sister, Letha Moxley; brother, Vernon Davis; son-in-law, Ira Lee Bryant. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Bryant of Euless, TX, Carla Taubeneck and husband Lynn of Fort Worth, TX, Marla Winters and husband Glayde of Irving, TX; son, Jack David Clements and wife Cindy of Bronx, NY; sisters, Wynona Caukins of Granite, OK, Thelma Ashley of Sweetwater, OK, Elma Newcomb of Chandler, OK and Greta Simmons of Tyron, OK; brother, Harold Davis of Denison, TX; nine grandchildren, Deidre Racoma and husband Robert of Bronx, NY; Todd Clements and wife Alyssa of Bronx, NY; Jeff Bryant and wife Nadine of Euless, TX; Daniel Bryant and wife April of Watauga, TX; Crystal Medrano and husband Chris of Grand Prairie, TX; Allyster Taubeneck of Waterloo, Belguim; Melody Taubeneck of Fort Worth, TX; Andrea Howard and husband Nathaniel of Bedford, TX; Monica Winters and fiancé Taylor Porras of Irving; nine great-grandchildren, Eliana, Marcus, Skylar, Emily, Maia, Alyson, Micah, Kaylie, Isaac and many friends. . The Clements family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Kincannon Gathering Room. Memorial contributions may be made to: Altus First Assembly of God or Heartland World Ministries Church of Irving, Texas.
